I do regret not doing much that summer, but I definitely did not feel “behind” in any way. Then again, now that I think about it, I didn’t exactly waste my summer away either. I learned how to drive, I helped my grandfather garden, I wrote and drew for fun, and I caught up with old friends. I did not do anything that I could put onto a resume, but those experiences are still parts of me. So just find something to do. Anything really, as long as you conclude your summer with as little regret as possible.
